POTTERY CLASSES
Dynamic Ceramics makes it easy to create a beautiful, truly one-of-a-kind piece of pottery. No prior experience required — their friendly staff guide you through the process. The classes are two hours long, no registration required. Dynamic Ceramics will notify you the next day when your pottery is ready for pickup.
It’s the perfect spot to kickoff an eventful date night out. Afterwards you can walk along Oak Street where you have plenty of spots to keep the good times rolling. BEADING CLASSES
Since it’s beginnings, masking as a Mardi Gras Indian has developed into an elaborate art form complete with elaborate costumes showcasing beautifully handcrafted beading work. At the House of Dance and Feathers, class attendees learn this fascinating process of making a Mardi Gras Indian suit from the experts. They even encourage students to bring your own wine to sip while participating in the class.

BOULDERING CLASSES
Slightly different from rock climbing, bouldering is climbing at lower heights without a rope or harness. But don’t worry — the walls at New Orleans Boulder Lounge have a 14-inch padded floor beneath. Classes cost around $20 per person (that’s $16 per climber plus the $4 rental shoe fee).

MOSAIC CLASSES
Make art out of glass at Shard Shop NOLA where you can learn how to make your very own mosaic using recycled and up-cycled glass on canvas. They specialize in a unique glass and resin art technique and the finished product is something spectacular. Classes are held weekly and last roughly 1-hour. CRAFT COCKTAILS CLASSES
Crescent City Cocktology hosts interactive and fun craft cocktail classes for the ultimate cocktail experience. Learn the history, tradition and culture of New Orleans cocktails and how they have evolved as you learn how to recreate each one using a base recipe to then create even more cocktails. Each class lasts roughly 90 minutes. CCC’s classes are $75 per person and are available on a first come first serve basis.
